Versions of SSMS after V18.2 will be able to open the Solution.
Considerably earlier versions of SSMS may not be able to open the Solution.
If you have difficulty opening the .ssmsln file with your specific version of SSMS you can
fix the situation by:
- Creating a new empty solution with a name of your choice.
- Then use the Right-click Project=>Add Existing item option and select the .sql files you want to import.
The selected
.sql files will then be copied from my "unusable" Solution into your current Solution.
