Work Experience
- I teach as a freelance technical IT instructor (officially recognised as such for over 22 years)
- I teach in both virtual and physical classrooms around the UK, Ireland and Europe
- I write course material on behalf of and for training companies
- I have worked at Volkswagen of South Africa, a steel foundry and
retail IT outlets in positions ranging from a help desk, network infrastructure administrator,
server administrator, DBA, developer to project manager
- I have over three decades of experience in programming (C#, VB, VBA, .NET, Microsoft MVC and others),
MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS and Microsoft's Azure cloud services,
server installation and maintenance,
network infrastructure and installation.
- I have taught/teach at Acuity Training, BT Training Ireland, Global Knowledge,
Knowledge Academy, Learning Tree, QA, Verhoef Training.
Hobbies
- Reading and listening to psychology and life skills books
- Fountain pens servicing and repair
- Music creation using Ableton
